Turning thumbnails off can improve performance. ThePaths panel (Window > Paths) lists the name and a thumbnailimage of each saved path, the current work path, and the currentvector mask. If I raster the shapes, photoshop claims it is too complex for an extrusion. All the shapes are merged and on one layer and I'm using 'New 3D extrusion from selected layer'. ![]() As far as I can tell this shape is not unique at all. When I covert this layer to a 3D extrusion, one specific shape goes missing.It has materials, IBLs, Stages and other content you can download as well as a link to Photoshop Dimensions, the Magazine of 3D in Photoshop-the fist issue is free and provides an overview of 3D in Photoshop CS 6 Extended.None of these shapes seem particularly complex, so I'm wondering why it has to render for 24+ hours. I made three fairly small objects: a table, a glass, and a beer bottle, as well as an image used as a postcard object background.
